Mimi S.

I cannot recommend this company enough! They were at our home within an hour and a half of me calling and telling them we had no water. They had it fixed in less than 30 minutes, replacing the well HP control box and double checking that everything was good. It has been YEARS since I have seen a company as on the ball, and with as much down-to-earth integrity, professionalism and fair pricing as C&C Plumbing and Well Pump Services. They now have my husband and I as lifetime customers, along with our daughter and sister in law

Tiffany G.

“I cannot say enough good things about C&C! They are our go to plumbing company! They show up on time, do a great job, and are very easy to work with. Lawson and Jose did a wonderful job and were so kind and helpful.”

Kamal G.

“I had water well issues and their two technicians came to my house. Totally outstanding service! They were very professional, patient when I asked questions, respectful, and figured out the issue. I highly recommend this company and am definitely their new customer from now onwards!”

Frequently Asked Questions

Plumbing, Water Filtration and Well Maintenance FAQs

  • Do I need a water filtration system for my Georgia home?

Our goal is to make sure everyone in Northeast GA has access to cleaner water! Filtered water not only improves the taste of your water (by removing chlorine) but also increases the lifespan of the household appliances because the mineral content is reduced substantially. Less detergent is needed because the water is softer and suds up quicker. Laundry comes out soft and not stiff. Showers and baths are more enjoyable. Hair is softer and more manageable. Pets are healthier from not ingesting chemicals that remain in tap water, improving their joint and kidney health. The reasons are endless! Learn more about the benefits of and process for installing a water filtration system.

  • I have a well on my Georgia property. What are the maintenance requirements?

To maintain the safety of your well water, wells must be tested at least once a year for mechanical problems, cleanliness, and the presence of certain contaminants, such as coliform bacteria, nitrates/nitrites, and any other contaminants of local concern (including arsenic and radon). In fact, well water should be tested more than once a year if there are recurrent incidents of gastrointestinal illness among members of your household (or visitors) and/or a change in taste, odor, or appearance of the well water.

Also be sure to keep any hazardous materials, including paint, fertilizer, pesticides and motor oil far away from your well. You may also want to verify with a professional well contractor that your well is sufficiently separated from home waste systems and/or chemical storage tanks. If you have concerns about your well, contact us.

  • I’m considering building a well on my Northeast GA property. What should I keep in mind?

Before building a well in Athens or anywhere in Northeast GA, make sure you have a well builder and well pump installer that is insured, certified, and licensed by the State of Georgia Water Well Advisory Council as a water well contractor. Well location is also vital—it should be located so rainwater flows away from it and it’s not located near home waste systems or chemical storage areas. This will avoid the introduction of harmful bacteria and contaminants. Learn more about the well construction and installation process here.

  • How long does a water filtration installation take?

The installation of a whole-home water filtration system doesn’t have to be disruptive. In fact, we can install your water filtration system in just a single afternoon!

  • Is a water filtration system less expensive than buying bottled water

The short answer is yes! In the long-term, your water filtration system will pay for itself in bottled water savings. But besides the direct cost, you’re saving the time and energy spent hauling cases of bottled water and plastic waste. Plus, the benefits of whole-water filtration systems span far beyond drinking water. You’ll experience benefits for your skin and hair, and increase the lifespan of home appliances that use water (thanks to less hard water buildup).
